    Andy Wirth is a longtime business professional who is the CEO of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, and was recently named the chairman and President of the Reno-Tahoe Regional Air Service Corporation (RASC). Wirth has continuously shown his educational efforts and good standing with the community, and fees that he can assist and add to the overall elements of the growing and thriving community by increasing opportunity. He is honored to serve in the role as chairman and president of the regional air service corporation.

    He graduated from the Colorado State University with his Bachelor’s degree in Science. After graduating from college, he moved to Steamboat, Colorado, where he started his career in the resorts.

    He started working at the Steamboat resort and worked there for many years as he gained experience. He has participated in many outdoor events and has worked very hard to make the Squaw Valley Resort a beautiful tourist attraction with many events. They are currently going under construction for a gondola which will connect the two sister resorts together.

    Andy Wirth has been involved in the developmental process of airports and air services for many major resorts all the way from Colorado to Quebec.

    He is responsible for playing a major role in the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.     Wirth will also be responsible for keeping the Regional Air Service Corporation formed together in an effort to bring the public and private organizations together. With the organization working together as one, it will ensure to bring in marketing dollars and other expertise options to position the Reno-Sparks and Lake Tahoe region as one port of entry and destination. He has currently been working with the airport directly with the Alaska Airlines trying to promote direct flights to and from Boise, Idaho and Orange County, California.
